Job Title:         Loan Operations Assistant

Reports To:     Loan Operations Manager

Department:    Loan Administration

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Loan Operations

  • Prepare Commercial and Consumer loan documents using either ComplianceOne or LoanVantage platform
  • Fund and upload new Commercial and Consumer loans from ComplianceOne or LoanVantage/OnBoard to JHA; and maintenance of renewals to JHA
  • Handle email requests from branches, including but not limited to, payment deferrals, maintenance requests, payment reversals, trust receipts, auto payment transfers, process charge-offs
  • Next day review of daily maintenance and index/review in Synergy Capture
  • Process paid loans and all maintenance including but not limited to, mailing original titles, mailing original paid notes, pulling Credit Life cancellations, and preparing release of liens on real estate loans.
  • Process loan payments, including after hour payments, and incoming wire transfers
  • Scan hard copy documents to Synergy Capture
  • Index/Review Synergy batches after new and renewed Commercial and Consumer loans are uploaded
  • Assist with CPI insurance tracking and reports and handling force placed policy procedures
  • Print and mail loan payment/past due notices
  • Filing of original loan documents and collateral after scanning
  • Customer Service - Assist with general customer service issues as needed
  • Month End/Daily balancing of loan GLs, Credit Life, GAP, and any other reports to be completed by department
  • Process Credit Report disputes, as assigned
  • Review Daily Loan Reports, including but not limited to, file maintenance, exceptions, low balance, phone transfers
  • Assist with tracking and scanning of loan exceptions
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Skills

  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must exhibit a high level of integrity and exercise good judgement.
  • Time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with other lines of businesses within the bank.
  • Mental concentration is required to perform concurrent tasks and meet deadlines while tolerating frequent interruptions.


Education and Experience


  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Banking experience is preferred.
