Job Title: Teller – Part-time

Reports To:     Branch Manager

Essential Responsibilities

Teller

  • Accurate paying and receiving of customers’ funds
  • Maintain cash drawer within policy limits
  • Adhere to security and operational policies
    • Bank Security
    • BSA
  • Assist with balancing the vault and ATM as needed
    • GPOD branch capture daily run

Customer service

  • Assist with general customer service issues as needed
    • Debit card maintenance –
    • Limit Changes
    • Out of the Country changes
    • Re-orders, hot cards, etc
  • Complete and process wire transfers
  • Online banking inquiries and troubleshooting
  • Balance inquires
  • Telephone transfers
  • Stop payments

Skills

  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must exhibit a high level of integrity and exercise good judgement.
  • Time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with other lines of businesses within the bank.
  • Mental concentration is required to perform concurrent tasks and meet deadlines while tolerating frequent interruptions.

Job Title:           Deposit Operations Specialist

Reports To:       Deposit Operations Manager

Department:      Deposit Operations

Basic Function

Responsible for reviewing new accounts and CIFs as well as maintenance to existing accounts and CIFs to ensure accuracy of the customer records and, track and communicate missing accounts documentation weekly with branches. Also responsible for document management of signature cards and entity documents, indexing to proper cabinets in the system. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be fully knowledgeable of the documentary requirements for all account relationships. Will need to become fully knowledgeable of bank procedures and requirements for new accounts and maintenance to existing and be able to support branch staff with inquiries about such matters and guide them to the appropriate resources.
  • Identify missing or incomplete documentation in review of the new accounts or core errors and report/meet weekly with the BSA officer and COO for discussion.
  • Receive clearing requests of exceptions from the bankers, reviewing submissions to determine if the requirements have been successfully completed and remediation of the errors has taken place.
  • Perform functions of maintenance to accounts as needed in the core system.
  • Work closely with other internal departments and branch staff to complete all requests.
  • Complete all work within the agreed service level to ensure timely input of changes, corrections and review of items originally processed by the branches daily.
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
  • Ability to meet or exceed productivity goals set by management.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Skills

  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and reading comprehension skills required.
  • Must exhibit a high level of integrity and exercise good judgement.
  • Time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, journals and government regulations.

  • Mental concentration is required to perform concurrent tasks and meet deadlines while tolerating frequent interruptions.

Education and Experience

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years banking experience preferred.
